Ajax in goalless draw, AZ hammered in Europa League

Ajax managed to hold Polish club Legia Warsaw to a 0-0 away draw on Thursday night, putting them in a good position to progress to the next round of the Europa League.

Peter Bosz’ squad has not lost a game in the Europa League competition so far.

The return leg takes place in Amsterdam next Thursday and the winner will move on to the round of 16.

AZ, however, lost 4-1 at home to Olympique Lyon and are virtually out of the competition.
