Fourteen arrested in suspected international cannabis gang
Fourteen people were arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of involvement in a major drugs gang, reports Nos.
The house raids happened at 6am at around twenty locations in Overijssel, in connection with an investigation into organised cannabis farming and international trafficking.
Police told RTV Oost that the raids in Zwolle, Almelo and Vroomshoop focused on the suspected bosses, rather than cannabis growers.
Dogs were used to detect drugs, goods and cash, and 10 cars were also seized. The investigation involved the police, prosecution services, defence specialists plus the tax and local authorities.
