Vitesse coach Peter Bosz heads for Tel Aviv
Vitesse coach Peter Bosz is leaving the Arnhem football club for Israel’s reigning champions Maccabi Tel Aviv.
‘They’ve approached me a number of times,’ he told the Vitesse website. ‘I’ve listened to their plans and have decided to accept the challenge.’
Assistent coach Rob Maas will take over Bosz’ duties until a replacement is found.
Bosz, 52, joined Vitesse in mid-2013 and took the club to sixth and then fifth place in the Eredivisie. They are currently lying fifth.
Jordi Cruijff, son of Johan, is technical director at the Tel Aviv club.
