Man arrested after mother, daughter found dead under floorboards
A man has been arrested following the discovery of the bodies of a 16-year-old girl and her mother under the floor of a house in Lelystad.
The man is said by the Telegraaf to be the girl’s stepfather Alex L.
The girl, named by the Telegraaf as Fleur, and her mother were reported missing by her brother at the weekend because he could not make contact with them.
Police first failed to find the women but made the grizzly discovery during a second search of the house on Sunday evening.
Neighbours told the Telegraaf they had no reason to suspect anything was wrong and the family appeared completely normal.
