Three members of the same family were seriously injured in a stabbing incident at a refugee centre in Dronten in Flevoland province on Friday, police say.

The mother, father and adult son were all taken to hospital after the incident, which police describe as ‘domestic violence following an argument’. One of the three people injured is described as the perpetrator but police are not saying which.

The refugee centre is home to around 1,000 people.
