Rotterdam boy, 14, shoots mother in stomach during argument
Police in Rotterdam are investigating a shooting on Tuesday night, in which a 14-year-old boy shot his mother in the stomach.
The woman, 34, was taken to hospital after ambulance staff discovered she had been shot.
The boy ran off but was caught later in Rotterdam Zuid. He still had the gun. A police spokesman said the shot was fired after the two had an argument.
