Brink’s to cut Dutch workforce by 600
The Brink’s security transport company is to close three of its seven Dutch branches in the next year, the Volkskrant reports.
The closure means 600 of the 1080 jobs the American company generated in the Netherlands will disappear.
The move comes after Brink’s main client Rabobank and three other banks decided to found their own company Geld Service Nederland (GSN) to count, sort and transport cash.
The three subsidiaries affected are in Rotterdam, Zwolle and Arnhem.
