The temperature could be as high as 23 Celsius in places on Sunday, online weather bureau weerplaza says on Friday.

However, Saturday will start chilly and there may be mist and even ground frost in places before the temperature warms up, weerplaza says.

The first few days of next week will also be dry, with temperatures around 20 Celsius, but the likelihood of rain will increase as the week progresses.

September has been both warmer and sunnier than usual, weather forecasters say. In terms of sunshine, there have been 152 hours so far, compared with 118 in an average year.
