Dutch designers win award for new condom
A design company from Delft has won a German design award for a new type of condom which is easier to put on, Nos television says on Friday.
The Wingman comes complete with a red plastic applicator so it can be rolled on with one hand. This also reduces the risk of tearing, the makers say.
The condom was designed by two Delft engineers, Paul Breur and Adnan Tunovic, in 2006 but production only started in 2012 after several years of research.
The duo will be awarded the iF Design prize in Hannover at the end of February.
