NS to remove most yellow timetable boards from stations
Dutch railway company NS is to remove most of the yellow timetable boards from its stations because too few people still use them, Nos television said on Wednesday.
There are some 3,400 boards at stations nationwide and they will be taken away from April. Each station will retain at least one for the 3% to 4% of people who use them.
NS said most people now plan their journeys online and use station digital information boards to check details.
