The clothing of people with senile dementia should be fitted with microchips so they can be easily tracked down if they go missing, the AD quotes the national Alzheimer association as saying.

The system already exists in some Scandinavian countries and moves are under way to introduce the chip in Belgium, the paper says.
‘Some 70% of people with dementia live at home and they are most likely to go missing,’ a spokesman told the paper.
Around 235,000 people in the Netherlands are suffering from dementia and that is set to double over the next 40 years.
