A14-year-old girl who wants to become the youngest person to sail solo round the world will remain under court supervision, judges in Arnhem decided on Tuesday.

Laura Dekker was made a ward of court last October but had hoped to start her two-year trip in July.
But the court said Laura and her father’s preparations for the trip are not yet sufficient to remove the risks.
Since last October, the girl has obtained a first aid certificate and her boat Guppy has been specially adapted, in line with court demands, Nos tv reports.
Dekker ran away to the Caribbean in December, saying she was fed up with the Netherlands.
