The Netherlands is too slow compared with other European countries at making its economy more sustainable, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Tuesday, quoting PricewaterhouseCoopers research.

PwC polled 269 company directors and strategists about sustainable entrepreneurship. Four out of five said the government’s recently announced package of measures to green the economy showed little ambition and almost 70% said the €2bn financial package was not enough, the FD said.
And 95% felt the EU should also be much more involved in stimulating sustainable economic development.
