Dalai Lama meets foreign minister
The Dalai Lama held a short meeting with foreign minister Maxime Verhagen and Dutch religious leaders on Friday morning, the last day of his controversial three-day visit to the Netherlands.
China protested strongly about the visit of the Tibetan spiritual leader and warned the Netherlands it could face economic sanctions if the Dalai Lama was given an official reception.
