Mumbai attacks: Dutch national injured
At least one Dutch person is known to be among the hundreds seriously injured in Mumbai after gunmen attacked guests in luxury hotels and set off explosions, leaving at least 100 people dead.
The man was seriously injured but is stable in hospital, the paper said.
Patrick Cescau, the CEO of Anglo-Dutch food group Unilever was in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai when it was attacked as was CEO-elect Paul Polman and a number of other executives. ‘They are all safe and accounted for,’ Unilever said in a statement.
Around 100 Dutch nationals are registered with the local consul as living in Mumbai.
