Peter Kortenhorst, head of public transport company Connexxion, has been dismissed with immediate effect, reports Friday’s Financieele Dagblad.

The company has not given a reason for his dismissal, the paper says.
A motion of no confidence in Kortenhorst was carried by the company’s two shareholders, the French transport company Transdev and the Dutch state, at an extraordinary shareholders meeting on Thursday.
