The famous Amsterdam sex club Yab Yum on Amsterdam’s prestigious Singel is to be closed down by the city council because of its reported criminal connections, says Friday’s Telegraaf.

‘There is a serious danger that Yab Yum uses its licence for criminal activities,’ a council spokeswoman told the paper. Brothels must have a city council licence to operate and owners must pass strict integrity checks.
The names of several well known figures from the criminal underworld including Sam Klepper, John Mieremet and Willem Endstra (all now murdered) have been connected to the club.
