Zandvoort race track will host Grand Prix in 2024 and 2025
Formula 1 races on the Zandvoort circuit will form part of the Grand Prix calendar in 2024 and 2025, now the racetrack owners have reached a deal with the event organisers.
The Zandvoort track had a three-year agreement with Formula 1, with the option of a two year extension, which will now go ahead.
‘The Dutch Grand Prix has quickly established itself on the calendar as a fan favourite, bringing incredible energy and a great fan experience every year,’ said Formula 1 chief Stefano Domenicali in a statement.
Formula 1 racing returned to Zandvoort in 2021 after a 36 year hiatus. Dutch driver Max Verstappen won both the 2021 and 2022 Grand Prix in front of the home crowd.
