Rail services stopped after ‘train surfer’ spotted on roof of Eurostar
Train services between Rotterdam and Dordrecht were suspended for around two hours on Sunday after a man climbed onto the roof of a Eurostar train.
Rail operator ProRail stopped the train and cut the electricity supply to the line after the man was spotted at around 9.30pm.
He was brought down and led away by police at Rotterdam-Zuid station. It is believed he climbed on top of the train at Rotterdam-Centraal.
ProRail said the man did not appear to be hurt and police were questioning him about his motives.
Persoon is aangehouden.
