August set to be warm and sunny, with the odd shower this week
August is set to be warm and dry, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures around 25 Celsius, weather forecasters at Weeronline say.
While there maybe the odd shower this week, and a temperature dip later, in general it will be a good month for holidaying at home. In particular, the northeastern breeze will keep the nights from being too hot, Weeronline told the Telegraaf.
The long, hot days in July have also pushed up the temperature of the sea to around 20 Celsius, making it perfect for a refreshing dip.
Weather bureau KNMI too says that there is a 70% chance of warm and sunny weather in its long term forecast, with runs to mid August.
The KNMI is forecasting temperatures in the high 20s for the first half of this week, with rain on Wednesday and possibly Thursday.
