A rainy few days ahead, but drier weather at the weekend
After weeks of hot, sunny weather, rain and thunderstorms are now moving across the Netherlands, bringing cooler temperatures and mist in the north.
Wednesday will remain cloudy with showers, heavy at times, and the temperature will be between 20 and 23 Celsius apart from in the far east and south, weather bureau KNMI said.
Overnight there may be more showers but the sun is likely to break through in the north west on Thursday morning for a time. More rain is forecast for Friday.
The weekend will be dry with sunny spells but the rain will be back next week, with temperatures in the low 20s Celsius. The KNMI’s long-range forecast is for drier weather with more sunshine up to the end of the month.
