Dutch singer S10 finished 11^th in Saturday night’s Eurovision Song Festival which was won, as expected, by Ukraine on the back of massive public support.

S10, who had been tipped to end up 10^th, said she had given the best performance of her life with her song De Diepte.

The singer said it is a shame she had finished just outside the top 10… but that all in all she had a great week. In particular, the 12 points from Italy ‘did a lot of good’, she told reporters.

De Diepte was 2^nd to Ukraine in Tuesday’s semi-final, the Eurovision organisation said after the event was over.

Saturday’s final attracted some three million viewers in the Netherlands, well down on the 5.4 million which it generated in 2021, when the Dutch were the hosts.
