Summer takes a pause as lower temperatures and rain dominate this weekend
The weekend is set to bring an end to the recent dry spell, with showers and lower night time temperatures, particularly in inland areas.
On Saturday temperatures will remain balmy with 21 degrees in the west and 24 in the east, according to weather bureau Weerplaza. Rain is predicted to sweep in later on as a south westerly wind picks up in force. In the afternoon increasing cloud will bring more rain to most parts of the country.
Rain will also be plentiful in places on Sunday, with temperatures rising to 20 degrees in the east and 22 degrees in the south, but by the afternoon the skies will have cleared to make way for some sunshine.
