Dry, clear weather set to continue but New Year may be foggy
This week will start off dry with clear weather but there is a chance of fog on New Year’s Eve and January 1, made worse by the lack of wind to blow away the impact of fireworks.
There may also be light frosts in sheltered places over the next two or three nights, the KNMI weather bureau said.
On January 1, the temperature will hover around 7 Celsius and the sea temperature is around 8 Celsius for those planning a New Year dip.
Later in the week it will be a little warmer, with the chance of light showers, but the sunshine will be back by next weekend. The KNMI says there is a 60% to 70% chance of more of the same well into January.
