Dutch mountaineer Ronald Naar dies during China climb
Dutch mountaineer Ronald Naar has died while climbing in China, the Telegraaf reports.
The paper describes Naar, 56, as the Netherlands’ most famous adventurer. He died after becoming unwell at around 8,000 feet.
Naar’s climbs include some of the most difficult in the world including the north face of the Eiger, Mount Everest and Nanga Parbat in Pakistan.
