Syrian man, 20, arrested on terrorism charges in Apeldoorn

A 20-year-old Syrian national living in Rotterdam has been arrested on terrorism charges, the police said on Tuesday.
The man was arrested in Apeldoorn on Friday and remanded in custody for two weeks by judges on Monday.
The man is suspected of being a member of a terrorist organisation and preparing a terrorist attack, police said, without giving any further details.
He was picked up by the special intervention team after Rotterdam police received a tip from abroad.
There are not likely to be any more arrests in connection with the case, RTL news reported.
