Police in Rotterdam have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of posting jihadist propaganda on social media.

The man was arrested at his home where police found images of him wearing a balaclava and carrying a machete. These were confiscated along with several devices.

He will be charged with membership of a terrorist organisation and spreading and promoting jihadist propaganda, both of which carry a penalty. There are no concrete indications the man was planning an attack.
