The four men who have been arrested in the investigation into last weekend’s explosion in The Hague, which killed six people, have been remanded in custody for at least 14 more days.

The four, who come from Rotterdam and Brabant, are suspected of arson and causing an explosion. They are also suspected of setting fire to a car.

One of men is a 33-year-old from Rotterdam, and two others, aged 23 and 29 come from Roosendaal. The fourth, who was arrested on Wednesday, is 33 and comes from Oosterhout. All four were arrested at their home addresses.

High-profile lawyer Gerard Spong is representing one of the suspects, the Telegraaf said.

Police now think the bridal shop Aliyahs Styling on the Tarwekamp in The Hague’s Mariahoeve district was the target of the attack. Several houses collapsed in the explosion and fire, and in total 19 were damaged.
