Man arrested for stabbing 16-year-old on Breda street
Police have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed a 16-year-old girl in a street in Breda on Monday morning.
The girl was walking on the Heksenwiellaan in the Brabant city when a man came up to her and stabbed her repeatedly, local broadcaster Omroep Brabant reported.
A local saw the girl lying on the side of the street at around 8.30 am and called an ambulance.
A spokesman for the police did not comment on her injuries but said she was ”lucky to be alive”. Police are calling for witnesses and are not ruling out further arrests.
