Tesla’s Amsterdam HQ is backdrop for Elon Musk and Trump film
Tesla’s European headquarters in Amsterdam has been the backdrop for a short film by British campaign group Led by Donkeys, outlining Elon Musk’s role in Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections.
The nearly 10 minute video was projected on the side of the building, with the Telsa logo clearly visible on another part of the complex, on Saturday night.
The video shows how Musk bought and transformed social media platform Twitter, and used it, renamed X, to spread conspiracy theories and fake news, helping Trump back into the White House.

“There are many reasons why Trump won the US election,” Led by Donkeys said on YouTube. “But the use of vast oligarchic wealth, like Elon Musk’s, to change our media environment is a key part of the story. Trump’s victory could add 4bn tonnes of CO2 to US emissions by 2030. Despite owning an electric car company, Musk is now a dangerous impediment to climate action.”
Tesla’s Model Y was the most popular new car in the Netherlands last year.
