Autumn weather moves in, with grey skies and some drizzle

The next few days are set to be overcast with some rain and temperatures around 15°, on Monday and Tuesday at least, according to weather bureau Weeronline. There may be some sunshine in the south, where it could reach up to 17°.

On Wednesday it will be slightly warmer nationwide but the temperature will begin to drop again towards the end of the week. It will be mainly overcast and dry but the sun may break through at times, particularly on Saturday.

By next weekend, the temperature will have fallen to around 12°, which is normal for the time of year.

The KNMI weather bureau’s long-term forecast sees a 50% chance of the current overcast conditions continuing, with a 40% chance of light frosts at night.
