Dry and sunny September summer weather is set to continue into the weekend, with temperatures reaching between 22° and 25°, according to weather bureau KNMI.

Sunday will also be warm for the time of year, and that brings with it the threat of heavy showers or  thunderstorms towards evening, the KNMI said.

Next week the weather will be more mixed, with sunny spells and showers, but temperatures remaining around or just below 20°.

The KNMI’s long term forecast is for more of the same, with temperatures dropping slightly to around normal for the time of year as we move into October.
