While Tuesday will be warm and sunny nationwide, there may be showers in the late evening in western parts of the country and showers are also likely in the next few days, particularly on Friday, according to weather bureau KNMI.

Next weekend, however, is likely to be dry with temperatures in the low 20s, which is normal for the time of year, the KNMI said.

However, there is a chance that on Sunday the temperature could top 30° inland and the higher temperatures will continue into early next week. The likelihood of thunderstorms will also increase with the warmer weather, the KNMI said.

Later in August, temperatures will return to the seasonable norm and the changeable weather, with sunshine mixed with showers, will continue.
