After Friday’s overcast skies and showers, the weekend will be dry with plenty of sunny spells, according to Dutch weather bureaus.

The temperature on Saturday will be in the low 20s but by Sunday it will rise and could reach up to 30° in some places.

Monday will be sunny and hot, with temperatures reaching up to 35°, the KNMI said. On Tuesday the picture is similar, although thunderstorms are likely later in the day.

The rest of the week will be a mixed bag of sunshine and showers, with temperatures in the mid to low 20s. This is likely to continue well into the second half of the month, according to the KNMI’s long-term forecast.
