It’s getting warmer but the rain is still with us this week
Temperatures are set to remain in the low 20s this week, with rain every day apart from Wednesday, according to the latest KNMI forecast.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday will be around 21° and there will be heavy showers in the south and southeast as the day progresses. Wednesday will be dry with sunny spells, especially in the afternoon, although clouds will gather overnight.
Thursday will be mixed, with sunshine and showers and temperatures reaching 26° in the south and inland. Friday and Saturday are set to be wet, but warmer, and there will be some sunshine by Sunday.
The KNMI’s long-range forecast gives some hope for sunny summer weather, with warmer than average temperatures and more sunshine. However, there is a good likelihood the rain will return by the end of the first week in August, the KNMI says.
