The Netherlands may have lost to England in the semi-finals of the European football championships, but Dutch international Cody Gakpo can still count himself among the tournament’s top scorers.

Gakpo scored three goals for the Dutch against Poland, Austria and Romania, and joins five other players in the top scorer list: Harry Kane (England), Georges Mikautadze (Georgia), Jamal Musiala (Germany), Ivan Schranz (Slovakia) and Dani Olmo (Spain).

Neither Kane nor Olmo scored in Spain’s 2-1 win over England in the final.

The 25-year-old attacker is the fourth Dutch player to have been included in the Euros top scorer list, with Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Kluivert going before him.
