Summer weather is still far off and there is little change ahead
The weather will remain chilly in the coming days, even though there will be plenty of sunshine at times, weather forecaster Weeronline said on Friday.
Friday will be no warmer than 15° to 18° despite the sunny start, and there will be some showers in the afternoon.
The weekend will be similar, with showers in the afternoon, although rainfall will be minimal, Weeronline said. The warmest temperatures will be in Limburg, where it could reach 19°. In the north there will be a westerly wind and on the coast it could be no warmer than 14° or 15°.
The KNMI’s long-term forecast sees little change in the coming week, although the likelihood of sunshine is no higher than 30%. And there is a 60% chance that the unsettled weather will continue well past the middle of June, the KNMI said.
