After several days of warm, sunny weather, the temperature will drop to no more than 14° on Friday, according to weather bureau KNMI. Thunderstorms are also likely.

But there is better weather for the weekend, with sunny spells in between the showers and the temperature rising to a maximum of 19° on both days, the KNMI said.

It is a similar picture for the rest of the week, although it will be slightly warmer, with a 50% chance of sunshine on most days, and a 50% chance of rain. Monday, in particular, is set to be wet.

The KNMI’s long range forecast, which stretches into mid May, sees more of the same, with temperatures slightly above average for the time of year.
