PSV’s European run is over after losing 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund

PSV Eindhoven’s European ambitions are over after losing 2-0 to Borrusia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

The Dutch side drew the first leg 1-1 at home.

PSV were behind for most of the game after Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho scored in the third minute. Marco Reus made it 2-0 in injury time.

On Thursday night Ajax are in action away against Aston Villa in the Conference League round of 16. The first leg ended in a 0-0 draw.
