Is discrimination an issue for the NL international community?
Discrimination is again big in the news, with the publication of a survey showing one in three East Asians face problems, and the government’s decision to water down legislation aimed at ensuring a level playing field in job applications.
International workers are also being increasingly blamed for problems in the Netherlands, such as the shortage of housing and the increasing dominance of English in some neighbourhoods and in education.
Dutch News would like to find out more about your experiences of discrimination in the Netherlands. Have you personally been affected and if so, what sort of impact has it had on you?
Or do you think people should stop moaning, improve their Dutch skills and get properly integrated into Dutch society?
We’ve put together a short survey and we would very much welcome your thoughts – in complete confidence of course.
