Summer sunshine returns for a few late September days
The Netherlands is due for a short spell of warm, sunny late summer weather from Sunday onwards, with temperatures reaching up to 23° by Wednesday.
The next three days at least will be warm and dry, with some cloud and little wind, weather bureau KNMI said. Wednesday and Thursday there could be some scattered showers but it will be dry and around 19° again going into next weekend.
However, moving into October, the forecasts vary widely. The KNMI says the most likely scenario is for a mix of sunshine and showers with temperatures slightly above average.
Weeronline sees the occasional shower and temperatures of between 16° and 20° from next weekend, which it says are very normal for the time of year.
Weerplaza by contrast, does not forecast any rain next week, but is forecasting light showers in the first week of October.
