Two shootings in Groningen, police appeal for information
Two people have been injured in two shootings on Thursday night in Winschoten in Groningen, reports RTV Noord.
At around 9pm, police received reports of the first shooting on the Transportbaan, and an hour an a half later a second shooting happened on the Papierbaan.
The shooters fled and two people were injured, police told Dutch media. “They were injured but it does not appear currently to be life threatening,” a spokesperson reportedly said.

The police are investigating a possible link between the incidents and have appealed to the public for more information.
