Police arrest drunk driver with fake ‘Boris Johnson’ driving licence
Police in Groningen have arrested a man who was driving drunk through the city using a driving licence in the name of former British prime minister Boris Johnson, local broadcaster Oog.tv reported.
The driving licence included a photo plus Johnson’s place and date of birth, but was valid until the end of 3000.
‘Unfortunately for the person concerned, we did not fall for it,’ the local force said on Instagram.
The driving licence says it is Ukrainian, but police have not yet said if the driver was a Ukrainian national. NOS correspondent Kysia Hekster said on Twitter that such driving licences are easy to pick up in tourist shops.
