Knightsbridge near Amsterdam offers luxury housing for every pocket
Looking for a wonderful apartment with all sorts of luxurious options in the Amsterdam area, and public transport, great schools and excellent leisure facilities on your doorstep? We’ve got you covered.
You might think of Knightsbridge and Hyde Park as smart parts of London, but a new development of homes inspired by their English counterparts is currently on sale just a short train ride from the centre of Amsterdam.
The Knightsbridge development consists of luxury apartments in a variety of different sizes, all with beautiful outdoor balconies or roof terraces. Some of the living spaces are perfect for working from home, there are compact studios for singles, one- and two-bedroom apartments and even spacious penthouses with large terraces.
As a result, Knightsbridge appeals to a diverse public and a pleasant mix of young and old. Whether couples, young families or empty nesters, Knightsbridge apartments, with their clever use of space, offer something for everyone.
Energy efficient
Energy efficiency is key and all the Knightsbridge homes have energy label A+++ which means the energy costs of an 60m2 apartment will be around €165 a month. The apartments all have underfloor heating and air conditioning systems as well, for maximum comfort.
The apartments come fitted with a state of the art kitchen from Bribus, with Bosch equipment and you can choose the colour of the cabinets yourself. The bathrooms are spacious, with Duravit fittings and luxurious Porcelanosa tiling. Each apartment also has generous storage space.
If you are a couple, the two bedroom apartments might be just what you are looking for. They range in size from 60m2 to 82m2 and some have outdoor terraces of up to 30m2 where you can enjoy the sunshine and the leafy views. The maisonettes are even bigger – some boast as much as 142 m2 of alfresco living!
At ground level there are parking facilities for cars and bicycles and residents also have access to the beautiful courtyard, designed by landscape architect Piet Oudolf, internationally recognised as a master in the field of gardens and landscaping.
The complex itself is within a few minutes walk from a city park, Hoofddorp’s comprehensive shopping centre and a welcoming tennis club. An international school is just a short bike ride away while it takes just 12 minutes to get to the Zuidas business district and its train station, with transport links all over the world.
In just a few minutes you can be in the heart of Amsterdam, with its museums, cafes, restaurants and culture. Head in the opposite direction and you will hit the beach at Zandvoort – perfect for an after-work swim or a sun-downer.
So what is all this going to cost? There are studios and apartments on sale to suit most pockets so get in touch to find out more. And remember, you won’t pay any transfer tax or brokerage fees and because the property is on private land, you won’t pay ground lease fees either.
You are welcome to visit the fully equipped showroom where you can talk to interior designers and make sure your apartment fits your requirements exactly. You can also take a look inside one of the show homes to check the space and level of finish and there is even a financial consultant on hand to help check out your mortgage options.
