Man dies in accident with ATV in Zeeland, two arrested as a precaution

A 31-year-old man has died in an accident involving a quad bike in Zeeland.
Emergency services were called to Walsoordensestraat in Walsoorden, near Terneuzen, where they pronounced the victim dead at around midnight on Sunday.
However, the collision is believed to have happened on Mariadijk, which crosses Walsoordensestraat at the western end of the village.
Police said they were investigating why the man’s body had been moved. Two men aged 36 and 24 who were at the scene when the body was found were arrested, but police said this was a standard procedure to safeguard their rights as suspects in the investigation.
There was no immediate evidence to suggest they were responsible for the victim’s death, a spokesman said.
