One in 10 not keen but most will get third jab: survey
Almost one in 10 fully vaccinated people do not want a third jab, a survey carried out by data press service LocalFocus and online voting guide Kieskompas has shown.
Some 9% of the 4,300 respondents said they would be unlikely to go for the booster shot, while 7.5% said they had not made up their mind yet. The majority, 83.5%, indicated they would get the third shot.
The booster shot will be a requirement for European travel from February 1 and needs to be administered withing nine months of the last vaccination in order to keep the Covid passport up to date.
Currently the over 60s, vulnerable people and care workers who had their last jab six months ago are being given the booster dose and so far 500,000 shots have been administered. The rest of the population will follow in the new year.
