Criminal moved to different jail after ‘incidents’
A criminal has been moved from a jail in Zaanstad after reportedly threatening staff and fellow detainees, claims the Telegraaf.
Lysander de R, former head of the notorious Hells Angels in Haarlem, has been moved, his lawyer confirmed to the paper.
There were reportedly suspicions that the man was carrying out criminal activities from jail, and that there had been a number of ‘incidents’ within the walls. The Telegraaf claimed staff were ‘terrified’ of him.
His lawyer, Remco Kint, told the Telegraaf that his client was serving his time like anyone else. ‘My client has been shut away under lock and key since 2018 and this is how he feels,’ he reportedly said. ‘Like every other detainee, he needs to ask permission for many things and the same rules apply to him.’
