The 16-year-old girl shot at her school in Rotterdam earlier this week had an appointment to talk to police about being stalked by her killer just 45 minutes after she was shot dead, Dutch media reported on Thursday.

The 31-year-old man, Bekir E, was also convicted of physical abuse and making threats against Humeyra in August, the AD said. He had been given a suspended jail term.

According to the Telegraaf, a week ago he had sent her a photograph of himself, posing with two guns in his hands. The source told the paper one of the guns was found in his car after his arrest.

Last week Humeyra had made another police report, accusing E of stalking her. He had already been banned from making contact with her and had been harassing her for two years, the paper said.

The girl was shot dead in the bike sheds at her school in Rotterdam shortly after 1pm on Tuesday. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
