Daley Blind returns to Ajax after four years at Manchester United
Daley Blind is returning to Ajax following four years at Manchester United. Ajax are reportedly paying €16m for Blind, but that could mount to €20.5m including bonuses, making him potentially the Amsterdam club’s most expensive buy to date, website Nu.nl reported.
Blind, who has 54 caps for the Netherlands, moved to the English side under Louis van Gaal in 2014 for €17.5m.
The 28-year-old, who plays both in defence and midfield, had a successful start at Manchester United but has since fallen out of favour with coach Jose Mourinho and was called up just seven times last season.
