Monday will be mainly sunny in coastal areas of the Netherlands but the temperature has dropped considerably and will reach no higher than 14 degrees in the northwest and 18 degrees in the far south.

However, on Monday night, cloud will move in and rain is possible in the northwest of the country. By Tuesday it will be cloudy everywhere with some showers in most places apart from the south. Temperatures will be no higher than 14 degrees in most of the country, but a few degrees warmer in the south.

The picture remains more or less unchanged for the rest of the week. On Kings Day (April 27) there is a 50% chance of rain and temperatures no higher than 14 degrees, the KNMI weather bureau said.
